On Saturday, 55 canines and puppies got one thing they’d by no means recognized: hope for a greater life. Rescued from business breeding amenities within the Midwest, the canines had been transported through our Cell Rescue Unit to our Port Washington, NY campus, due to our ongoing partnership with Nationwide Mill Canine Rescue.
The group included 40 grownup canines and 15 puppies, representing all kinds of small and medium breeds: Bichons, Beagles, Dachshunds, Pugs, Cocker Spaniels, Poodle mixes, and even a Corgi. Two litters – seven Husky puppies and 5 Aussies – had been among the many youngest. One tiny Havanese woman, simply weeks previous, is now receiving particular care in our Nursery till she’s prepared for adoption.
