UNC to Shut Space Research Facilities

The College of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will shut its space research facilities in 2026, school members inside the facilities instructed Inside Increased Ed.

The six facilities—the Heart for European Research, the African Research Heart, the Carolina Asia Heart, the Heart for Center East and Islamic Research, the Institute for the Examine of the Americas and the Heart for Slavic, Eurasian and East European Research—are all anticipated to shut in some unspecified time in the future subsequent 12 months.
