California-based Taylor Farms has expanded a voluntary recall of its iceberg lettuce merchandise sourced from central Mexico due to a possible hyperlink to the multistate cyclospora outbreak that has sickened individuals throughout the US.
Merchandise with the potential to be contaminated with the diarrhea-causing parasite had been shipped to 27 states together with Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Illinois and New Jersey, the corporate stated in a press release Friday.
